Just kidding about going to study — I have a quick thing to add. Man of Steel is coming out in the summer and they just recently released the new trailer.
Now, I’m looking forward to this film, but I’m also extremely nervous for it. I won’t go into a really in-depth explanation, but basically I am not the biggest fan of the director Zack Snyder (Watchmen and 300); however, I absolutely adore Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy). Nolan’s name itself adds an air of esteem to the film, which most likely outweighs Snyder’s, well, lack of esteem, in my opinion.
The trailer itself was quite good and rather typical in terms of a much anticipated superhero movie. There was the dramatic, super intense music in the background accompanied by a powerful chorus – enough to induce chills to anybody who succumbs to such theatrical techniques – effective voiceovers, displays of the expected phenomenal cinematography, and just enough plot reveal to appeal to the viewers’ curiosity, if they weren’t already intrigued.
They’ll probably release another, if not a couple more trailers as the movie won’t come out for another 6-7 months, but so far this trailer indicates that it will most likely be at least a decent modern adaptation of Superman.
